Certification Specialist & Lead auditor. Received a bachelor degree from the Faculty of Forestry, Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) in 1995. Kick started his career at the forestry consultancy company PT Pro Natres Development as a junior consultant for projects related to feasibility studies, EIAs and field surveys in the forestry sector from 1995 to 1996. He then joined the production forest management (HPH/IUPHK) and integrated timber industry company PT Kiani Lestari (Kalimanis Group) as Head Section of Forestry Planning and GIS, responsible for coordinating sustainable forest management from 1996 to 2001. Issues of environmental sustainability and green label certification which emerged in 2000 attracted him to join TUV Rheinland Indonesia as an international company working in the certification business.
Starting as a project engineer (auditor) at TUV Rheinland Indonesia in 2001, in the same year he was promoted as Project Manager for Forest Certification. In 2009, he was promoted as Deputy General Manager for Forestry and Agriculture certification which covered sustainable forest management and chain of custody for timber products, and agricultural certification especially oil palm (including RSPO and supply chain certification, ISPO and ISCC). He is currently qualified as a Lead auditor for the Environmental Management System ISO 14001, Lead auditor for quality system management ISO 9001, auditor for occupational health and safety OHSAS 18001, auditor for forest management and chain of custody certification from FSC, PEFC, LEI and the Indonesian Government mandatory standards of PHPL and VLK, auditor for RSPO and ISCC. He was recently qualified as a HCV team leader and RSPO specialist. After joining TUV Rheinland Indonesia for 11 years, he decided to establish and develop PT Re.Mark Asia.
