HCV Assessor - Ecology, Biodiversity specialist

Obtained his PhD and Master Degree in Natural Resource and Environmental Management from IPB’s Postgraduate School, as well as a bachelor degree from the Faculty of Forestry, IPB. Research staff at the Loka Litbang Satwa Primata (which later changed names to become the Balai Penelitian Teknologi Perbenihan Samboja, and now the Balai Penelitian Teknologi Konservasi Sumberdaya Alam). Received a scholarship from the European Union / Asialink Project “Forest Restoration and Rehabilitation in Southeast Asia (FORRSA)” to attent a visiting student program at he Department of Forest Ecology at the University of Helsinki, Finland. As a research staff he is active in many research activities including biodiversity conservation, management of conservation areas, and forest restoration and rehabilitation. He has also participated in numerous evaluation activities related to conservation management and HCV assessments for oil palm plantations in West Kalimantan, South Kalimantan, Central Kalimantan, East Kalimantan, South Sumatera and Bengkulu.
